The results of the Philippine 2022 election has been unsettling. Worse, the divisiveness due to the differing political views between families and friends was palpable enough to question family loyalties. It was more than unsettling, it was toxic! And it got me hooked, social media did. As a homeschooling parent with concerns for the country's future, que horror! I didn't even maximize the time to teach the kids about the things they could have learned from the monumental season: why this one is so different, and why it was a big deal (well, we had conversations, but not enough).
